Tis the season to be jolly!!

Okay so I know I've been away a while but I'm here now and I have some VERY exciting news!! Right, so....
1. I am currently writing from my brand new IPad!! And....
2. I also got for Xmas an amazing camera, so I can shoot video blogs as well!!

2 weeks to go!

Its 2 weeks until christmas! Ahh, and there is nothing better than a nice hot chocolate with marshmallows in front of a nice fire watching the soaps. That would be nice, but I'm holed up in my bedroom doing revision for a sociology mock tomorrow, fun times. xxx 

December!

Its December! Which means I can officially get excited about Christmas! Yay! Its so not far away now!!! It's all cold and wintry, which would be great but I've had the worst bout of flu which I still have!! :( I'll be happy when I'm well again! But anyway, who's excited for Christmas?!! xxx

I hate sociology

I swear I've been trying to do my sociology all week and I still haven't finished it! It's killing me and I hate it so much!! :'(

Halloween Party again...

Okay so last night I went to a  party. I did not know there would be alcohol and that would basically be the only beverage available. So had a little tipple, (by the way I am NOT used to alcohol), just to be social. And felt incredibly sick when I got home. Yay. But anyway, this post isn't really about that, it's about my costume! I spent the whole afternoon worrying about what to wear when an hour before I had to go my mum arrives home with a witches outfit, a white wig and fishnet tights, all 75% off from Wilkinsons! Well! I loved the witches dress, it was fab! I didn't wear the hat because I wanted to put my hair piece in, but I wore the tights. I then did my makeup and put on my ENORMOUS eye lashes I'd found and I was good to go! I have to say I was pretty pleased... ;D 

Halloween party

So ideas for the party I'm going to tonight are not going too well I have to say. Do I wear my masquerade mask with simply sexy makeup and my hair piece or straighten my hair with the mask, or not wear the mask and do bigger makeup? Ahhh I can't decide!!! 

Believe

A real halloween nightmare!

Today me and my mum have possibly been to every supermarket, small store and green grocers in the south west trying to find a pumpkin! They were all sold out! We managed to get one in the end, about the size of the tennis ball, it is that small! But quite hilarious! We did have fun on our own little pumpkin hunt. We called him Peter.   

Skyfall!!

Wow, not much to say really apart from Skyfall is amazing!! It's just bloody fantastic!! love it and anyone who hasn't seen it, go and see it now!! hahaa xxx

Reading back over my blog is like reading a slightly strange, sometimes amusing diary... But anyway, thought I'd share a little of my some what small knowledge of writing with "LUCY'S TIP OF THE DAY!" Yes it's very exciting, so here it is...
1. Read it out loud- I know it sounds funny, but it really helps me get a sense of the flow of my writing and helps me spot any silly mistakes, or just if it doesn't sound right. Try it!

Skyfall

So, its quite a big thing at the moment... The new James Bond film, Skyfall. Who's been to see it? It looks good. I've going to see it on Monday, I think. Quite excited, but its like 2 and a half hours isn't it? Oh well, I'm excited! :D xx

Ikea

So last night I had a little trip to ikea :D fun times, and it really is! Sitting on all the chairs and sofas and beds, and the little rooms done up as proper little rooms and houses. I don't know I just like it... lol. Anyway it was funny. I don't know why but I thought Ikea was German or something, turns out it Swedish. Well now you know. Just thought I'd share :D hope your good. xx 

Ed Sheeran!

Last night was amazing! I went to an Ed Sheeran concert in Newport, Wales and it was just....there are no words! Even though we got horribly lost, nearly ran out of fuel, then hardly had enough money to get fuel and were staring by the time we got out....it was AWESOME!! hahahaa :D his supports were stunning aswell, just a great night! xxx

A good old chat!

In my opinion nothing beats a good old chat with your best friend. You know your best friends when you don't even have to be doing anything, just talking is enough. But watching the Avengers Assemble helps! Love that film! So apart from getting an E in my first Sociology essay its been a good day :D You? xxx

Are the roads safe anymore?! Getting better at driving on the roads, not sure I'll ever be a brilliant driver though! Its quite exciting though! :D :D xxx

I totally forgot! I'm 17 now!! I've been out driving with my parents and am getting there I think! But its pretty scary! 

Face Masks and Writers Block

So I'm sat here on a Sunday night, needing to do some revision on sociology but also really wanting to write some more of my novel in a pomegranate face mask and crippled by writers block! Any tips please!? xxx

Okay, so its...Wednesday, yay! lol :) so I started college on Monday and so far I am really enjoying it. At the edge of the world, the furthest point to go

How would you get there? Walk, run, row?

When you arrive, what will you see?

Swirling, whirling clouds of space and me

I'll wait for you there, right on the edge

Leaning over threatening to jump off the ledge

Until I see you, come to rescue me

together forever, this is how we are meant to be.

In your arms, we would watch the sun set

Entwined together, like when we first met

Once again you'd pull me back from the brink

You're my savior, my missing link

And we would sit there curled

together, at the edge of the world.

The typical bank holiday Monday...

Why is it that a normal bank holiday is always a wet and windy affair? Why can't it just surprise us one time with a nice sunny, warm day! That'd be nice :) lol anyway, not written much on my novel recently, really need to get back into it, but I find myself lacking a bit of focus....

GCSE Results!!!

Okay, so today was the big day!! Results day! first off let me say I really hope everyone got what they were hoping for!! :D Secondly I am pretty pleased with my results, so good day :D Next stop, college!! How did everyone do?? xxx

My Dog is odd...

My dog is very strange...I swear there's either always something wrong with him or he's just acting very strange. To be honest he's just pretty embarrassing! lol !!! But I still love him! <3 

Driving...

First taste of driving today with my dad! :D exciting!! xx

Mud...

I fell over in mud today!! So funny thinking about it now, but I really hurt my arm and got mud all over my jeans! lol , oh well, funny, funny day...

A week to go...

So, its exactly a week till my exam results and I'm a little nervous! I just want to get them now!! Its going to be so nerve racking on the day! I hope everything goes okay :/

Sometimes I love just going on google images and typing words in to see how google interpret that, I love this photo, could inspire so many pieces of writing. I might try writing a short story off an image.... xxx

Running?

Okay, but I just don't get running, of course I admire the runners in the olympics and stuff, but thats professionally. The people I see running around my village are either over 90, and thats just weird, or super skinny peeps just trying to show off there buff bods! And for me running was always bad, I mean I could only complete one lap round the school track without collapsing on the floor, hardly able to breath,  and also my brain felt like it was going up and down in my head! Not fun! I don't know what you guys think about running? xxx

Okay so this is my first post on my new blog! Maybe a little about why I started this blog...I really want to be an author when I'm older, to get a book published would be the best thing ever! So this is a bit like my story...whats happening in my life, day to day...if I've written any more on my on going novel 'It goes on' ...and so on! I also may do some vlogs, just to mix it up! Mainly be me talking about writing, or anything really!
